Mouth Grills |
| Mouth grills (grillz or fronts ) and jewelry may bring some bling to your mouth, but the American Dental Association says wearers should take notice. |
Grills and jewelry can cause:
|
- Infection
- Tooth Decay
- Gum Disease
- Chipped teeth
- Allergic reaction
|
| |
Unless used with extreme care, grills are a breeding ground for bacterial. The bacteria causes tooth decay and gum disease. |
| |
Wearers should be careful to: |
- Brush and floss teeth twice each day
- Limit time spent wearing grills
- Remove grills before eating
- Avoid grills and jewelry made of products dangerous to ingest
|
| |
If you are thinking about getting a dental grill, talk to your dentist first. Grills might be trendy for the moment, but “pearly whites” will never go out of style. |
